Are you our new Legal Management Assistant?

After having grown to a solid start-up in the Benelux market, Social Seeder is ready to take the leap towards an international scale-up. This means that we need to grow exponentially and that can only be accomplished with support of the current management.

We are looking for someone that can support the management and take away some of the legal and administrative tasks.  Since we are a small team your work will not be limited to only legal tasks, but you'll act as an office manager as well.

Job Summary

  • You will assist the management team in some of the administrative tasks.
  • You will act as the DPO of the company and you will make sure are documents are legally compliant.
  • You are responsible for the contracts with our partners and clients.
  • You manage all required DPA-agreements.
  • You manage contacts and contracts with suppliers.
  • You are the first person any newcomer will see.
  • You are the go-to person when it comes to organising things.
  • You are responsible for the internal festivities (you manage teambuilding activities and after-work drinks). But you also don’t forget any birthdays.

Skills & Requirements

  • You have at least had a first working experience
  • You have a bachelor in law or related.
  • You have experience in legal matters, privacy and contract writing
  • Experience in IT law and cybersecurity is an advantage
  • You work detail-oriented and you're not afraid to speak up
  • You have good analytical and writing skills
  • You are at ease with multi-tasking and you adapt yourself easily to the changing environment of a scale-up
  • Having a DPO certification is an added value, but if not we will allow you to follow the proper training
  • Startup experience will be added advantage

Soft Skills

  • You are analytical, optimistic, solution oriented and creative, with an open mind.
  • You value communication and collaboration with others.
  • You love to think outside the box and assist others where needed
  • You have a strong can-do mentality and you're an organizational wizard.
  • You have a learning attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of English is mandatory (both oral and written). French and/or Dutch is an advantage.
  • You have a good sense for a market-/country-specific approach and local culture
  • Take ownership of the task and come up with a creative optimum solution.
