Social Seeder is still very new to you, how are things going so far?
“We started the program a month ago. We’ve sent an email to a dozen of colleagues who were already very active on LinkedIn, with the request to become one of our Super Ambassadors. I applied as well. There’s three of us now and we are in fact the pulling force behind the project. We create vlogging video’s in which we explain directly what we are going to do and why we are doing it. Quite successful actually, we already have about 70 ambassadors. A significant growth in a short period of time. Social Seeder is welcomed with great enthusiasm. The fact that we have a lot of young colleagues among us, might be an advantage as well.”
Employee recruitment through employer branding
What was the initial reason to choose for Social Seeder?
“The main reason for us is employee recruitment. A lot of companies these days struggle to find the right profiles to reinforce their teams. Through employer branding we aim to boost our presence on social media. It’s not just about posting our job openings. We try to highlight different aspects of Arval. We present our products for instance. But we also launched a video of our latest company party. Basically we use Social Seeder to show an overall picture of what we do and who we are. Our corporate values and culture are certainly part of that.”
Do you already have some results to share with us after one month?
“Yes, the first results are very pleasing. We have reached 1.700 views on YouTube and more than 18.000 clicks on LinkedIn. The clear reporting of Social Seeder makes it very easy to keep track of our activity. We use these insights to create new relevant content. We strongly believe in authentic content. No actors or paid influencers but real people with real stories. After all, our main challenge is to showcase Arval and it’s great to see the employee engagement growing. People are happy and proud to be able to represent our company.”
